The Magic Of One

Well, not for little Saanvi! -- who recently turned the big 365 days young and was surrounded by tons of guests, thrilled in games galore, dined on cakes and chocolate fountains, and enjoyed heaps of love from close family and friends. And now, beautiful Saanvi will have a crib-load of pictures to remind her of the rockin' party mom and dad threw her at the East Lake Village Clubhouse.

Chaitali and Hiren, friends of ours and the evening's gracious hosts, commissioned me to photograph their niece's birthday, and I was thrilled to work on this event because their family celebrations are always enriched with flair, color, and culture. You guys did an awesome job pulling everything together -- from the party favors, the games, the buffet. I also thought it was a cool touch to incorporate a celebration for Saanvi's dad recent graduation, as well as their Grandmother's birthday -- party multitasking!

I also have to thank Gian -- for helping assist and cheering me on like always!

Happy 1st Birthday, Saanvi! Dharmesh and Manali, your daughter is a doll. I wonder what's in store for birthday Number Two?? Enjoy!

Into The West

Back in L.A. from the Boston vacation. What a great break! My internal clock is still ticking on East Coast time, so I'm waking up early and can't seem to stay up late -- so this night owl needs to get back on track. Meanwhile, I'm busy editing away on a cool 1st Birthday shoot, and will be sharing some of those images after the weekend. And, next Saturday, I'll be reuniting with the Bad Baby Fashions team, this time to shoot their Summer '08 t-shirt lineup!
